Starting Fee

The starting fee for the marathon is set per person:

Payment of the marathon starting fee:

The athlete is entered for the marathon race after he/she completes a form at the website www.kanoemaraton.cz and he/she pays the starting fee. By 15th July, it is payable by bank transfer – from 16th July on it can be covered at the venue in the race office. The starting fee is to be credited to the bank account: 43-8711590277/0100 under the variable symbol – date of birth in the format YYMMDD. Please write the athlete´s name into the message for the recipient. The amount of the starting fee depends on the date of payment – see the Starting fee. 

Cancellation of entries

The marathon start is possible to cancel by 15th July. The starting fee will be returned decreased by the cancellation fee at the amount of CZK 50 (2 Euros). From 15th July it is impossible to cancel your marathon participation, respectively the starting fee will not be reimbursed.

Registration

Registration is done via e-mail address: office@canoe2011.com Registration must include: - Full name, year of birth, boat category, age group, club, country. For multiple-member crew lists all the names and birth years. The last possible date for registering through the site is July 15, 2011 24:00. After this deadline can register at presentation (see presentation). Entry fee pay by postal order or bank transfer to bank account 43-8711590277/0100  ............ your date of birth in YYMMDD form with a note (message to the recipient) Write your name. When paying for the crew refers to the date of birth one of the members. Entry  fee is a fee multiplied by the number of crew (raft with six people - 6 x 9 Euro fee is CZK - 54 Euro - during registration on June 30, with registration on the race office is 102 Euro - sign up in time and saves a lot of money). Notifications

• Attention! The deadline for the entries is Saturday, 30th July at 2 pm. After this deadline we will not accept any other entries for technical reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
• All paddlers must start with a helmet, life jackets and boat. Boats are permitted any. In conflicting situations, the Judge shall decide on the classification of boats in the right category.

Award Ceremony

On Saturday, 30th July, 2011, from 8:00 pm it will be held at the chateau in Hradec nad Moravicí. All the athletes starting in all the races at the Juniors World Championship, the Silesia Canoe Marathon, Czech Juniors Cup, Eskimo roll contest, Canoe Air Race and Kayak Cross are allowed to enter the event free of charge. The audience who want to participate at the awarding ceremony at the chateau on Saturday, 30th July, will pay the entrance fee of CZK 50. At the awarding ceremony there will be subsidized beer available…After the awarding ceremony, a rich accompanying program will take place.

Results

The results will be published immediately on the venue at the finish immediately after the race and later at the race website: www.kanoemaraton.cz

Prizes for winners

In each category there will be the first three best of the result list announced. Such sportspeople will receive small prizes and possibly cups. The overall marathon standings will be announced – the first ten athletes at the finish (irrespective of their age, sex and boat category). For all the others there is nothing else left but…many new experience and much sweat.

Transportation of participants

Diplomas of participation

All the athletes who complete the marathon will be offered to buy a commemorative diploma. At the finish line in the race office, they will be issued. Each diploma will be marked with the athlete´s name and the race time. The price of one diploma is CZK 50 (2 Euros).

Social life

During the whole week of the event on the Moravice River there will be a number of accompanying events. We will publish more information continuously at our websites www.canoe2011.com and at www.kanoemaraton.cz . Now we can give you some hints: after the awarding ceremony held in the exclusive ambience of a chateau, each marathon participant will be offered a boiled and cooled down iont drink at a very favorable price. And some music and some video, too. Let us surprise you.

Accommodation and boarding

• University dormitories – 20-minute distance from the race course, approx.10-minute car drive from the city center. Accommodation in double rooms. Toilets and showers in the corridor on each floor. Full-board – a restaurant is located about 1 minute on foot from the accommodation facilities. There is one social room available for the dorm residents. The facility is fenced, including a parking lot. You can load your boats in the fenced area. The price for accommodation is CZK 250/person/night – boarding upon request at individual prices. 
• Gymnasium – the organizers provide for accommodation in a gym in Hradec nad Moravicí from Friday, 29th July to Sunday, 31st July. The price is CZK 75/person/night. You will be sleeping directly at the race course – only 50 meters to the JWC 2011 courses!
• Campsite – accommodation possible in a campsite in Žimrovice in the facility “Dobrá pohoda” or in Hradec nad Moravicí in Kajlovec – not provided by the organizers. 
• Davidův mlýn -  (David's mill) offers the active enjoyment of your leisure time. Both for children and adults the pottery workshop and the ropes course are available, you can also try fishing in our ponds.

The race is inspired by older siblings abroad (Fish Marathon - South Africa, Marathon Ardèche - FRA). Therefore, it will announce many categories - 28th in total For example, double canoe - Mrs. Find your category and put into practice.

Race course:

The Moravice River

A mass Start is on the bank under small dam in Vitkov Podhradi. After start all paddlers will have to sit to the boats and paddle to the finish. Finish is after 21 km in Hradec nad Moravici just 100 meters after the bridge. More about the course see below:
